How A Cold Email Campaign Turned $10 Into $5000 ?

I’ve been working in the marketing industry for a long time, and I love it. But there’s one thing I don’t love—cold email campaigns. I hate them! They’re expensive and inefficient compared to other forms of advertising. So when my company decided to launch a new product, we decided to try something different and cold email our way into sales instead of spending on advertising. Here’s how it worked out:

It all started with an email.
We all know that the best way to reach a target audience is with face-to-face communication. But there are some occasions when it’s not possible, or even desirable. And that’s when cold emailing comes in handy—it allows you to connect with people who may not have been interested in your company or product before but could be persuaded by an email message.

A cold email campaign (or CRM as it’s also known) is simply an automated series of emails sent from one person or company directly at another person or company based on data collected from previous interactions (for example: those within a certain industry). The goal? To increase the likelihood of success by targeting only those people who will be most receptive and receptive enough to respond favorably after receiving similar messages from other companies/people in their industry.”

We did our research and built a targeted list of 500 companies.
We did our research and built a targeted list of 500 companies.

We used an email marketing service called MailChimp to send our emails. It’s free, with no limits on the number of contacts you can have in your database (unlike many other services). You can also customize the emails by changing their colors, fonts and layout—including adding images or text boxes—so that they’re perfectly tailored for each recipient.

When we added this tool to our workflow, it saved us time because it took care of all the tedious tasks involved with building lists: filtering down thousands upon thousands of addresses into relevant ones; segmenting those contacts into smaller groups based on location; then sending personalized messages only available when someone visits one specific web page or downloads an app from iTunes Store.*

How we sent the emails.
The first thing you’ll need to do is send a batch of emails. This will be the most time-consuming part of your campaign, but it’s also the most important. You want all emails sent out at once so that they have time to get into inboxes and be read by people who might not see them otherwise.

The best way we’ve found for sending out these batches is through Zapier—a tool that allows you to set up automated workflows between different apps (like Gmail or Mailchimp). We used this platform because it has an option where you can select “send based on schedule” within its app widget settings page, which makes it easy for us as marketers trying our best not just send out campaigns but also keep track of their progress!

How we tracked the progress of the emails.
To track the progress of each email, we used a spreadsheet. We tracked the number of times that an email was opened, clicked on, replied to and forwarded. The data was then analyzed over time to determine whether or not it was worth sending out another cold email campaign at that particular time.

The results.
You won’t be surprised to learn that the ROI for this campaign was huge. In fact, it was the highest in our history—easily exceeding six figures.

We also noticed that those who received word about our cold email campaign were likely interested in what we had to offer because they were already buying from us or were planning on purchasing from us soon. That’s how you can build trust and loyalty with your customers!

Cold email marketing is still relevant, when done right.
Cold email is still relevant in this age of inbox overload. If you want your message to stand out, it needs to be well-crafted and targeted. To do this, you’ll want to use the right tools for tracking what’s working and what isn’t.

Finally, follow up with people who haven’t opened your emails yet—or at least send them an opportunity for action (like a call). The key here is persistence: don’t give up if someone doesn’t respond right away!

We hope you found this guide helpful in learning how to create a cold email campaign. It can be a great way to build relationships with your target audience and get their attention. We’d love to hear what you think about the article or any other questions about sending emails (or anything else) for that matter.
